Noor Mustun

Noor is a Senior Executive in Transaction Advisory Services at Grant Thornton. Specializing in corporate finance, Noor boasts three years of extensive experience in TAS, during which he has worked with companies across a broad spectrum of industries, including hospitality & tourism, real estate, banking and finance, fishing, mining, and sugar, among others. His expertise encompasses financial modeling, business plans, investor pitches, valuations, financial due diligence, and M&A advisory assignments.

Noor is a CFA® Charterholder and an ACCA member, underlining his deep understanding of financial analysis and accounting principles. He holds a first-class honors bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Operational Research, Statistics, and Economics from the University of Warwick, UK, where he developed significant statistical and data analytics skills, particularly in R and Python. Currently, Noor is advancing his knowledge in the field of risk management by pursuing the FRM qualification.

His professional journey began at EY Mauritius, where he served as an Assistant in Strategy & Transactions, before moving to Grant Thornton in Malta, where he has climbed the ranks from Executive to Senior Executive in Transaction Advisory Services. Noor's academic achievements include being a top affiliate in Malta for the ACCA and completing the CFA Program in 18 months, with first time passes for all 3 levels.

Aside from his professional and academic pursuits, Noor has actively contributed to his community and professional bodies. He has served in various positions of responsibility at the University of Warwick, including as the R course coordinator for the Warwick Statistics Society, and as a careers officer, where he organized numerous career events. He is currently serving on the Young Members Committee for the Malta Institute of Accountant.
