Beyond the numbers

The firm has managed to achieve various D&I goals along the way:

 

Moreover, since the start of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee in 2020, the Committee has represented the voice of our employees, allowing us to enhance and encourage a more inclusive and diverse workplace. The achievements of the Committee include:

  • Celebrating ‘World Day for Culture Diversity for Dialogue and Development’ at the office every year since May 2022.
  • Promoting mental health amongst our employees throughout the year by offering an Employee Assistance Programme provided by ICAS through Atlas Insurance. This programme provides counselling sessions, 24X7 chat, articles, information videos and managerial support.
  • Celebration of various milestones and cultural days in the D&I calendar.

Grant Thornton received the Equality Mark in January 2024 from NCPE in recognition of our commitment to establishing an environment at work where people of all genders, races, ethnicities, sexual orientations, and other characteristics are respected and empowered. The award demonstrates our constant commitment to promoting diversity and inclusiveness in every aspect of our business operations. Obtaining the Equality Mark is a motivation to keep working towards more social justice and equality both inside and outside of our firm. It also represents our values as a firm.
